A Brampton man was killed in a head-on collision in a remote part of Northern Ontario last week.
The Thunder Bay Detachment of the OPP say the collision occurred on Highway 11-17 in the community of Pearl in the Township of Shuniah on December 30.
Police investigating determined a tractor-trailer collided with vehicle that had several passengers.
The person killed has been identified as Mandeep Singh Sohi, 25, of Brampton. Several other people were taken to hospital and treated for various serious injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit in conjunction with the OPP Forensic Identification Unit is continuing the investigation.
