A new, casual dining option is opening in southwest Brampton next month.

Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill will open its 18th GTA restaurant at Lionhead Marketplace, 8295 Financial Drive at Mississauga Road.

Turtle Jack’s is a premium, casual dining brand where guests can escape and recharge with friends and family. They’re committed to bringing you an experience wrapped in comfort and marked by their fresh menu, seasonal cocktails and warm hospitality — reminiscent of the welcome extended by a cottage neighbour.

This location will be a welcome addition to the plaza, making it easy for guests to shop, run errands and dine in one convenient spot. Turtle Jack’s Lionhead will seat 174 guests in their dining room and bar/lounge, and offer 36 seats on the patio. Its interior is designed to resemble an upscale Muskoka experience, while providing a relaxed environment that one comes to expect from a cherished visit to the cottage.

Turtle Jack’s savoury menu features award-winning baby back ribs, chuck and brisket burgers, signature turtle wings, house-made chicken rolls, four-cheese cajun chicken penne and pineapple mango salmon. They also offer fresh salads, hearty soups, creative cocktails, delectable desserts and an impressive gluten-free menu. The kids menu will satisfy the pickiest of eaters with a healthy app, toy and sweet treat. And $0.50 from every kid’s meal goes to Breakfast Club of Canada to provide an important meal to school-aged children in need.

“Fresh since 1992 is part of our brand logo for a reason,” says Holly Ashby, director of marketing. “We make a concerted effort to use the freshest ingredients, sourcing from local or sustainable sources wherever possible.”

“From our chicken rolls, dips and sauces, to our signature desserts, we use the best ingredients and create twists on cottage classics worthy of inviting family and friends to ‘come on over’ and share. We believe in creating flavours that fuel your soul or spark a memory – or better yet, create a new one!”

Turtle Jack’s Lionhead will launch early July with patio and takeout and look forward to showcasing their beautiful dining room when Phase 2 allows for the return of in-restaurant dining.
