Multi-vehicle collision in Brampton results in four deaths, including three children

Peel police received a call at 12:16 pm in regard to a multi-vehicle collision in Brampton.

The collision occurred on Torbram Road and Countryside Drive, according to police.

Earlier today, police said there were numerous injuries and reports from the scene indicated that children were involved and that the injuries were life-threatening.

Police confirmed that as a result of the collision, four deaths occurred including three children. 

The area is currently shut down for the police investigation.

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is investigating the collision and an SIU spokesperson is en route to the scene.

UPDATE: Four investigators, three forensic investigators and one collision reconstruction from the SIU have been assigned to investigate the fatal collision in Brampton.
