While no one likes snow and cold, people do love winter sports and fortunately for skating fans in Brampton, another rink is about to open for business!
The Mount Plesant Village outdoor skating rink is slated to open on Friday, Dec. 16 at 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
Going forward, skaters will be able to enjoy the rink Sunday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
On New Year’s Eve, the rink will be open until midnight.

If you have little ones, you might be happy to know that the rink will host parent and child skating sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Note that skate aids can be used during supervised child and parent skate times. If you’re using that equipment, a CSA-approved helmet with a full face mask must be used.
While rooms are not provided, you can change in and out of your skates on benches.
