Mount Pleasant Village library has stepped up its game.

Located at 100 Commuter Drive, the Mount Pleasant library branch has changed its hours to reflect those of other Brampton Library branches as of July 3, 2017.

According to the Peel Community Services directory, the library’s old hours were much shorter than any other branch. Since August 2016, the branch’s hours were Monday to Thursday from 2-9 p.m., Friday from 2-6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

Now, the branch’s hours have been extended. Here’s what they look like:

Bramptonians can now use the library for about 20 more hours per week!

The library is actually a part of a reconstructed historic Canadian Pacific Railroad station structure that’s now used as a cultural facility in the Mount Pleasant Civic Square.

All library branches – Cyril Clark, Four Corners, Gore Meadows, South Fletcher’s, Chinguacousy (undergoing renovations, limited services available) and Mount Pleasant – now have the same hours.
