McDonald’s worker in Brampton tests positive for COVID-19

An employee at a McDonald’s restaurant in Brampton has tested positive for COVID-19.

The worker at the fast-food burger joint, located at 45 MountainAsh Rd. in Brampton, has tested positive for the virus. He last worked at the store on May 16.

“While continuing to operate in line with guidance from public health authorities and all levels of government, we remain committed to the safety of the communities we serve in order to meet the needs of the many Canadians who rely on us for food and beverages,” McDonald’s Canada said on its website.

“In addition to our existing high standards of cleanliness, restaurants continue to demonstrate our Safety+ commitment, which includes enhanced safety measures to ensure every part of the McDonald’s experience is safe.”
