Man dead after vehicle crashes into pole in Brampton

Officers are investigating a fatal collision that happened overnight in Brampton.

At 2:37 a.m., police reported that a single vehicle crashed into a pole at Dixie Road and Clark Boulevard.

The vehicle’s sole occupant was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after 6:00 a.m., police said the adult male victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The cause of the collision has not been disclosed at this time.

The Major Collision Bureau is continuing to investigate.
