Man charged after multiple vehicles damaged in Brampton

Police say that on Monday, July 13, 2020, a man attended a residential underground parking garage on Lisa Street in Brampton.

According to police, the man damaged 19 motor vehicles and stole various items, including credit cards, that he later used to commit fraud. 

Further investigation revealed that the man was also responsible for two similar incidents on Greene Drive in Brampton on February 23, 2020.

Damon Smith-Metzler, a 30-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested on July 13, 2020.

Police say he was charged with 21 counts of Mischief over $5000, four counts of Theft under $5000, two counts of Fraud and five counts of Breach of Probation.

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice.
