Holiday Inn Express is a mid-priced hotel chain within the InterContinental Hotels Group family of brands, which offers limited services at a reasonable price.

Located on the northeast side of Steeles Avenue and West Drive, the development project is still under review, and so most information is not confirmed yet. The city will host an open house to hear the public’s opinions on October 7 from 6:15 to 6:45 at City Hall.

The company has proposed a six‐storey hotel development, which consists of 110 hotel units and 486 sq.m of amenity area that includes meeting, recreational, dining and lounge space. The front yard will be designed with an arrangement of shrub hedging framing the entry walkway and a “Holiday Inn Express” sign.
