You watched him film in Brampton and Milton, come next January you will see the final product when Kevin Hart’s movie Man From Toronto is released.
The comedian-turned-actor Hart, along with co-stars Woody Harrelson (Cheers) and Kaley Cuoco (Bang Bang Theory), were spotted throughout Southern Ontario last fall while filming the movie, but their stops in Milton and Brampton garnered the most attention from local residents who aren’t used to getting a few big Hollywood names in their neighbourhood.
It started off in mid-November when the stars were filming at a Brampton GO Station. Later, the team headed to Milton where Main St. was closed-down to film some action sequences.
A lot of the attention came about when Sunny Rabbanim, a Brampton fitness centre owner purchased a large billboard near the Bramalea GO Station to send a message to Hart…and it worked.
About a month later Hart met up with Rabbanim to take a few selfies and to thank the Brampton resident for reaching out in his unique way.
“I think your gestures were unreal, and as a person, I couldn’t let that go unnoticed,” said Hart adding he had to make it a priority to meet Rabbanim and thank him.
According to film industry trade publication Variety, Man From Toronto will either hit the big or the small screen, depending on the pandemic situation, on January, 14, 2022.
