If you love food festivals and food trucks, a brand new event is coming to Brampton that you’ll want to book your weekend for!

Brampton has its fair share of food festivals, and now, a massive and well-known food truck festival will be added to Brampton’s food festival roster this summer.

It’s true – Canadian Food Truck Festivals will officially hit Chinguacousy Park for one weekend only on September 1 and 2, 2018, from 12-8 p.m. each day.

Chinguacousy Park is definitely a good pick for this festival’s location. At 100 acres, Brampton’s biggest park will play host to this festival which currently only operates in four other big cities, Pickering (The Esplanade Park), Toronto (Woodbine Park), Burlington (Spencer Smith Park), and Richmond Hill (Richmond Green Park).

Brampton will be the event’s fifth city, new in 2018. This is exciting news – Brampton is now attracting popular festivals from across the GTA, and we all love food here, so the event is a welcome announcement.

“Serving up some of the best food from the country, this is a festival you won’t want to miss!” say event organizers. “Show some of your Brampton love by bringing your friends and family. Oh and don’t forget, there will be local performers geared to entertain the masses!”

That’s right, there will be entertainment alongside all of the food.

Which food trucks can you expect?

A total of 33 trucks will be at the festival.

That includes popular Brampton food truck Sul Irmaos Smokehouse.

Also on the roster are Beavertails, Latin truck 50 Pesos, seafood joint Buster’s Sea Cove, Crepes on the Go, Jerk Brothers, Pizza Wagon, Malaysian Kitchen, Meltdown Cheesery, BBQ favourite The Hogfather, and fresh fruit juice spot Tropic Love.

You have a few weeks left to get your appetite and your wallet ready.

We’ll keep you posted on the details.
