Are you an adult who absolutely loves to read?
If so, you are in luck.
The Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) is about to hold its first annual Brampton Book Bash. According to the event’s Facebook page, the bash will feature a book market featuring books by diverse authors and illustrators at the one-day sale.
The sale is slated for Saturday, Sept. 30 and will take place at Brampton City Hall. It’s scheduled to kick off at 9:00 a.m. and wrap up at 2:00 p.m., so don’t leave too late (lest you miss out on all the best books).
- Film footage shows downtown Brampton in the 1940s
- Tech startups can apply for funding and get in front of industry partners with this opportunity
- Nominations now open for Brampton Citizens Awards
As for what attendees can expect, people will be able interact with authors, book organizations, poets, and storytellers at the location during Brampton’s Farmer’s Market as part of Culture Days–a national celebration of arts and culture.
