Church’s Chicken already has over 1700 locations spanning 24 countries – they’re known as Texas Chicken in some – and now, they have opened their first location in Brampton, near Hurontario and Ray Lawson in the same plaza as Wok of Fame.
This is Church’s third location in all of Ontario – currently, there’s a location on St. Clair West in downtown Toronto, and another at Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough. It’s located in the same block at Second Cup in the plaza.
Church’s has been around for a very long time. In fact, they opened their first location in 1952 in downtown San Antonio in Texas.

The fried chicken joint has worked its way around the States, across the world, and up north into Canada since then.
There are 18 Church’s joints across Canada in total, with the majority in British Columbia.
They serve some classic fried chicken dishes that you can now try, including tender chicken strips, original fried chicken, and even a Tex supreme sandwich. Church’s also boasts southern comfort food like honey butter biscuits, chicken rice, and popcorn shrimp.
So, if you’re looking for a new place to indulge that’s not a KFC or a Popeyes, you now have another popular fried chicken joint to try!
