How to support local food banks in Brampton amid COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 Social Support Task Force is working with Brampton distributors to support those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Local food banks are currently in urgent need of donations and looking for certain non-perishables and toiletries.

The City of Brampton is working with the following three local food distributors:

Knights Table

Donations are being accepted Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Food Bank support is available through pre-packed hampers that will be distributed to regular service users, Wednesdays to Fridays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The emergency food bank is open Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.

Local food banks are in need of diapers (sizes 2, 3, 4), baby formula, macaroni and cheese, side dishes, small bags of rice, flour, tea, instant coffee, toilet paper, toiletries including toothpaste, deodorant, soap and shampoo, canned meat such as tuna, chicken, ham and boxed fruit juice.
