Hold and secure lifted at Brampton schools, but police still searching for man who fled crash scene

Three Brampton schools have been released from a hold and secure measure, but police are still searching for the man that caused the move.
Peel Regional Police say the person they are looking for is on foot and the Canine Unit has been called in to help with the search.
The incident began following a collision at Torrence Woods and Kim Crt. in the Churchville area of the city.
Police say one of the drivers left the scene of the accident but then crashed his vehicle again a short distance later.
After that crash the man left the car and started to run away.
Under a “hold and secure” schools will not allow anyone to enter the building.
St. Augustine Catholic Secondary School, St. Bridgid Catholic Elementary School and Copeland Public School were the schools affected.

Police continue to pursue the man who is described as South Asian, in his 20s and wearing a yellow hoodie and blue jeans.
