Winter pretty much just ended, spring has been rainy, and people across Brampton are looking forward to summer. If you’re ready to slap on some sunscreen, slip on some flip flops, and jump into a pool, you might be excited to know when Brampton’s major waterpark opens this year!

Bramptonians were pretty stoked when Wet’N’Wild Toronto opened here in June 2017, and now, an opening date has been announced for its second year running.

Wet’N’Wild will officially be open from June 29-September 3, 2018.

And if you get a season pass, you can go even earlier. Season pass buyers can enjoy the park for two initial days on May 26 and 27, 2018.

Passes are going for $69.95 right now, but prices go up on May 28. If you’re wondering, a season pass will cover unlimited entry for the season, discounts on food and cabana rentals, free bring a friend coupons, and even a free Darien Lake Amusement Park ticket with discounted lodging options.

Wet’N’Wild got a ton of cool slides last summer like Hurricane and Typhoone (Canada’s longest bowl water slide), Klondike Express (a high-speed race through a 360-degree loop and a “gravity-defying” drop) and Oh Canada! (freefall through a near-vertical chute).

Right now, the waterpark is looking for almost 500 new employees. Applications are currently being accepted for lifeguards, cashiers, ticket booth attendants, food and beverage staff, line cooks, park services/maintenance, cabana attendants, dancers and event staff, a mascot, bartenders, receptionists, zip line operators, and water park attendants.

The park opened on June 24 last year, with over $25 million in renovations in place of the old Wild Water Kingdom. Wet’N’Wild boasts a total of 12 attractions and 33 slides.

Are you planning a trip to Wet’N’Wild this year?
