To say that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the community is an understatement and businesses particularly have suffered greatly.

To say that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the community is an understatement and businesses particularly have suffered greatly.

That’s why the City of Brampton is encouraging residents to support local businesses, whenever possible as they could use all the support they can get in these dire times.

“Let’s all pitch in to support them now – when they need us more than ever. We’re all in this together, and you can make a difference,” reads the City of Brampton’s website.

Here is how you can help by supporting locally.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of online shopping and curbside pickup when buying locally during COVID-19 and beyond.

Support includes ordering takeout food, the purchase of gift cards and even watching The Rose’s online programming.

Bramptonians are also encouraged to engage with local businesses through their social media accounts by showing support for Brampton businesses.

They may do so on social media by promoting their favourite businesses using a Support Local graphic and the hashtag #SupportLocalBrampton.
