Haunted Ghost Tours are Coming Back to Brampton

While no one–or almost no one–enjoys cold weather, almost everyone loves Halloween and all the spooky celebrations that go along with it (and if they don’t, they don’t know what they’re missing).

For that reason, Brampton residents might be very happy to hear that After Dark Tours are set to kick off in Brampton.

After Dark Tours, which is run by Steve Collie (who gets a little help from his sons, Matthew and Jonathon, and marketing coordinator, Laura Collie), provides spooky walking tours throughout Toronto and Brampton that are purportedly based on real paranormal activity.

“We take you as close to the activity as we can for the enlightenment and entertainment of everyone. Non-believers are more than welcome,” Collie writes on After Dark Tours’ website.

Collie’s Ghost Walking Tour of Downtown Brampton, which will run on Oct. 13, 20, 27 and 28, will explore Flowertown’s “dark side.”

According to the website, Brampton’s downtown core is home to a concentrated amount of paranormal activity, caused by 190 years of strange or unusual deaths. The tour has nine stops, all of which were chosen based on three to five eyewitness accounts of paranormal activity or Collie’s own personal experience.

All tours will start at Gage Park (45 Main St. S) at 8:00 p.m.

Lovers of paranormal activity (the occurrence, not the film) can also check out the Four-Corners Library Ghost Tour. That tour will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the library (65 Queen St. E.) at 7:00 p.m.
