As the weather forecast for Southern Ontario continues to call for freezing rain and heavy rainfall today (Sunday, April 15), continuing until the beginning of next week, the City has been forced to cancel certain events scheduled for today.
All City of Brampton registered and drop-in recreation programs are cancelled as of noon, through to the end of day.
Staff are contacting registered program participants to inform them of this decision.

Recreation and community centres will remain open for rental permit holders, the City says.
Residents are reminded to stay safe during bad weather conditions and continue to look out for any weather updates.
