Four males facing charges after police allegedly locate drugs and firearm in Brampton

Police have laid charges against four men in Brampton following a recent vehicle search.

Just after 12:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, patrol officers were in the area of Dixie Road and Father Tobin Road where they began investigating a vehicle in the parking lot of a school.

“As a result of the investigation, officers located both drugs and a firearm inside of the car, and all four men within were arrested,” police said.

19 year old Brandon James of no fixed address was charged with nine firearm offences and two drug offences.

20 year old Toronto man Fuad Giwa was charged with four firearm offences, two drug offences, and one offence of failing to comply with a release order.

19 year old Oshawa man Jassaine Clarke-Mcfarlane was charged with five firearm offences and two drug offences.

20 year old Orangeville man Tyler Battah was charged with four firearm offences and two drug offences.

All four men appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on February 5 to answer to the charges.
