One person has been seriously injured in an early-morning collision in Brampton.

One person has been seriously injured in an early-morning collision in Brampton.

Police were called at 6:21 a.m. on Sunday after a vehicle crashed into a tree in the area of Clark Boulevard and Bramalea Road.

The female driver was taken to a trauma centre. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

According to police, her injuries have been deemed critical and life-threatening.

Clark has been closed from Fleetwood to Earnscliffe Gate until further notice.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
