A Brampton home was being used as a base to make counterfeit documents such as passports and health cards, say police in Durham Region.
An investigation by the department’s Financial Crimes Unit led to a raid at a home on Bernadino St. last month where they say a fully functional credit card and identification operation was discovered along with hundreds of fake documents.
Police seized equipment and phoney documents that also included credit cards and drivers licenses.
