The minimum age to get the COVID-19 vaccine is continuing to lower, with Peel reporting that adults 60 year and older are now eligible to book the vaccine.
Residents who are at least 60 years old can book their appointment by visiting Peel Region’s website or the province’s website. The vaccine is also available for Indigenous adults 18+ and eligible health care workers.
Appointments can also be booked at the following hospital clinics:
William Osler Health System vaccine clinics
- Brampton Civic Hospital
- Chinguacousy Wellness Centre
Trillium Health Partners vaccine clinics
- Mississauga Hospital
- University of Toronto Mississauga
Additionally, for residents 55 and older, the province says it’s increasing vaccine rollout to over 350 additional pharmacies and primary care settings across Ontario, all of which will offer the AstraZeneca vaccine to residents who are at least 55. Some locations will begin offering the vaccine as early as today (Saturday, April 3).
