Canada-wide arrest warrant issued for suspect in connection to Brampton shooting

Peel Regional Police has issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a suspect in connection to a shooting in Brampton that occurred in August.

During the afternoon of August 31, 2020, PRP was called to a cemetery in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Bovaird Drive in relation to a shooting involving several people.

Upon arrival, police discovered three victims with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds–four vehicles, a nearby residence and a school were also damaged during the altercation.

As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Pedram Rabie, a 31-year-old resident of Thornhill.

Rabie is wanted for two counts of attempted murder, among other charges.
