Many parents know that searching for a good daycare is a struggle, but Angelic Treasures Christian Daycare, which recently opened in the Brampton and Caledon area, may be the answer you’ve been looking for. The daycare provides premium care for children and enriches them physically and mentally, with a “home away from home feel” that’s hard to find anywhere else!

Located at 2626 Mayfield Road on the border of Brampton and Caledon, Angelic Treasures Daycare is now open for enrolment and accepting infants to school-aged kids.

As one of the few licensed daycares in the area to care for infants, Angelic Treasures provides daycare service, part-time care, before and after school activities, and holiday camp including March break camp and summer camp.

Angelic Treasures’ rates are affordable, and there’s even a sibling discount — siblings in the family receive 10% off the older child. To get more details on their rates, they can be contacted directly at 905-495-1417 or [email protected].

The daycare has been following all health and safety protocols related to COVID-19, and also has some part-time spots available for parents who need a little help with their kids during the ongoing pandemic.

Angelic Treasures focuses on child development such as language, social, emotional, cognitive, sensorial, and physical development. They offer enrichment programs for children of all ages, including French and music, and activities are planned through observation of each child’s developmental progress. Angelic Treasures believes in each child reaching their full potential and becoming independent individuals.

The Brampton daycare understands the value of proper nutrition, which is why their food is prepared hot, fresh, and nutritious every day. The menu is based on the Canada Food Guide, was created by a nutritionist, and is approved/recommended by a certified dietitian. Their chefs have their food handling certificates as well.

The new centre is part of the overall Angelic Treasures franchise, which has been serving families across the GTA since 2003. While it’s a Christian daycare that focuses on teaching Christian values and Bible stories, you don’t have to be Christian to attend; in fact, the families in their centres come from all backgrounds and all religions.

Their daycare curriculum features a variety of activities including indoor play, outdoor play, rest time, routines, and chapel time. Summer camp programs include outdoor sports, French, English, literacy, science, robotics, arts & crafts, field trips and more.

The daycare’s belief in full inclusion means they also accept children with special needs, and will work with you to determine the best plan for your child. They also collaborate with regional health teams (OTs, Physio, Doctors, etc.) to ensure kids get the best service possible.

The Brampton location is owned by Christene Cousins, whose experience with children includes working with them since she was sixteen in recreational, daycare, and after school programs. She now has three teenagers of her own who all attended daycare themselves when they were young.

Just like Cousins, Angelic Treasures’ extraordinary staff is well-qualified for the job – every staff member is either certified with a diploma, degree or both, and they have their vulnerable sector screening checks done as well as a current Infant/Child CPR and First-Aid certificate.

Angelic Treasures’ rates are affordable, and there’s even a sibling discount — siblings in the family receive 10% off the older child. To get more details on their rates, they can be contacted directly at 905-495-1417 or [email protected].

The search for a good Brampton or Caledon daycare doesn’t need to be difficult – consider Angelic Treasures for your infant, preschool child, toddler, or school-aged kid!

More information can found at their website, which features a “For Parents” section that includes their events calendar, workshops, and a useful parent handbook.
