A very furry and adorable event is coming to Brampton for the first time ever!

It’s true – Brampton is offiically getting a Halloween Dog Parade on Saturday October 27, 2018, from 1-1:30 p.m.

Dog owners are invited to dress up their pups and march them around Garden Square in unison.

A ton of dogs are expected to be dressed up and in the Square. According to the Downtown Brampton BIA, the first 200 dogs in attendance will receive a free treat bag from Crumps’ Naturals.

Crumps’ is actually a local Brampton brand. You might have seen the company set up at the Downtown Brampton Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings throughout the summer and the fall this year.

If you don’t have a dog to dress up and bring to the Square, that’s not a problem.

All residents are invited to watch the parade at this family friendly event.

This epic parade is a new feature at the BIA’s annual trick-or-treating event in downtown Brampton.

The BIA’s free trick-or-treating event is happening across downtown Brampton that Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

In 2017, more than 30 businesses gave out candy to trick-or-treaters for this pre-Halloween event, so you can bet that this year, it’s going to be huge, and there’s going to be a lot of candy.

Businesses are encouraged to dress up, and this is a good chance to show off your costume a few days early, or come up with another costume.

The BIA typically hands out maps of the event to know which businesses are participating.

Last year, participating businesses included DasBrezelHaus in McArter Lane and the ever-popular Dolcezza Cakes on Main Street. Vivian Lane was amassed with free treat bag decorating stations for kids, as well.
