For Brampton’s Ajitha Stanislaus, it was the best $3 she has ever spent.

That’s because with the $3 she purchased an Instant Name Game Crossward ticket (Game #3228) and won the top prize of $50,000.

Stanislaus, 48, a grocery store worker said she is a regular lottery player and enjoys the instant tickets the most.

The game involves scratching off letters to reveal names. Selena, Erin and Neal were among the names that she found.

“I got eleven words. I was so happy – I couldn’t believe it,” she said.  “I spent $3 on a ticket and won $50,000!”

She said she checked her ticket using the OLG Lottery App.

Stanislaus told her husband about her big win right away and then let everyone else know the good news. “I chatted with my friends and family over the holidays and I had so much fun telling them. I told everyone!”

She plans to share her winnings with her parents and siblings and set up a fund for her son. “I’d like to have a nice savings account and not touch it,” she concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Chinguacousy Rd. in Brampton.
