Caroline Clements of Brampton has just won $100,000 with INSTANT HOT CARD (Game #2099).

This is not Clements’ first win. According to OLG, the regular lottery player won $100,000 with ENCORE in 2017.

According to OLG, the retired public servant discovered this win while at a retailer when she self-scanned her ticket to see the message that said “Big Winner.”

“I thought to myself, oh my gosh, am I seeing right?” Clements told OLG. “I was excited!”

The 70-year-old mother and grandmother plans to pay off some bills and enjoy her winnings. When she’s able to sit in a restaurant, she plans to celebrate with her family.

“There’s never a dull moment. It feels just wonderful,” Clements told OLG.

The winning ticket was purchased at Convenience Access on Williams Parkway in Brampton.

The OLG Prize Centre in Toronto has resumed in-person prize claims for winning-ticket holders of $50,000 or more by appointment only.

To best protect customers and staff, OLG has put in place appropriate health and safety protocols in accordance with guidelines from public health officials, which include physical distancing measures, the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the pre-screening of visitors before granting entry.

Currently, OLG is reaching out to major prize winners ($50,000+) who have been unable to claim their prizes due to COVID-19 to schedule appointments for in-person prize claims.

In the coming weeks, OLG will open appointments to anyone wishing to claim their prize in-person at the Prize Centre.
