Brampton Teen Arrested in Connection with Stabbing Incident at High School

A Brampton teen has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that sent another teen to hospital with serious injuries.

On Thursday, Feb. 3 at approximately 4:05 p.m., police were called to a stabbing outside of Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School on Chinguacousy Road in Brampton. Once officers arrived on scene, they found a 15-year-old male suffering from a single stab wound.

His injuries were believed to be life threatening at the time and he remains in serious but stable condition.

That same day, a young offender was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated assault.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear at the A. Grenville & William Davis Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Feb. 24.
