Ziyad brand Soup Starter Soup Base – Jameed

This product, which is sold individually or in a combination pack with Chef’s brand Premium Rice, is being recalled because it contains milk which is not declared on the label. Consumers with milk allergies should not consume this product.

The Honest Company brand Organic Baby Powder

This product is being recalled due to possible contamination with several species of bacteria, including some species associated with skin infections or eye infections. Consumers should immediately stop using this product and return it for a full refund.

Calphalon Contemporary Cutlery Knives and Knife Sets

The blade on certain Calphalon Contemporary Cutlery knives and knife sets can break during use, posing a laceration hazard. The company has received 43 reports in Canada of knife blades breaking during normal use or when dropped (no reports of injury). Consumers should immediately stop using the knives and contact Calphalon Corporation to receive a free replacement.

South Shore Furniture’s Summer Breeze brand 5-drawer dressers

The recalled dressers can tip over if not securely anchored to the wall, posing a safety hazard particularly for young children. Consumers should immediately stop using all affected dressers, move them to an area that children can not access, and contact South Shore Furniture to obtain a free anchoring repair kit to secure the dresser to the wall.

Carrier recalls Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps

This recall applies to certain models of Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps sold under the Bryant, Carrier and Fast brand names. The power cord plug may overheat, posing a fire hazard. So far, the company has received one report of this happening in Canada. Consumers should stop using and unplug the recalled units, and contact Carrier to receive a free replacement cord.

Country Home Products recalls DR Tow-Behind Field and Brush Mower

The mower’s fuel tank valve can malfunction and cause the fuel tank to expand and gasoline liquid or vapors to be unexpectedly released, posing fire and burn hazards. The company has received one report of an incident in Canada. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Country Home Products to schedule a free repair from a dealer.

Yanjinpuzi brand dried tofu products

These tofu products are being recalled as they contain fish which is not declared on the label. Consumers with fish allergies should avoid eating these products.

Butterkist brand cookies

These cookie products contain milk which is not declared on the label. Consumers with milk allergies should avoid eating these products.
