Brampton power outage affecting hundreds of homes and businesses

A power outage is affecting hundreds of homes and businesses in Brampton Saturday night (Dec. 19).

According to Alectra Utilities, 1,723 customers in the Bramalea Road and North Park Drive area are currently without power.

Crews have been dispatched to the area and the utility provider estimates return to service to be around 1 a.m.
