Brampton man charged with drug offences

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged a 42-year-old man from Brampton with drug offences.

Police say the charges and arrest occurred after a search warrant was conducted at a residence in Brampton. 

According to police, on Thursday, October 29, 2020, investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Castlemore Rd. and The Gore Rd.

As a result, police located two pounds of crystal methamphetamine and five ounces of heroin with a total estimated street value of $39,000, according to police.

Police say Jatinder Sandhar, a 42-year-old man from Brampton was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.

He was held for a bail hearing and will attend the Ontario Court of Justice.
