Brampton Man Charged in Dangerous Driving Crash

Police have charged a Brampton man after a crash where a driver was ejected onto the roadway in Brampton.

According to a recent statement from Peel Regional Police, on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at approximately 7:11 p.m., officers saw a black Kawasaki X63 motorcycle on Hurontario Street approaching Fisherman Drive in Brampton.

“The driver was cutting in between vehicles, and entering the centre median to pass other vehicles at a high rate of speed,” reads the statement.

“Due to the high rate of speed, the driver was unable to stop, and collided with a Honda CRV that was stopped for traffic. The driver was ejected onto the roadway, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.”

Kelly Parlee, 22, of Brampton, has been charged with Dangerous Operation.

He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton in September.
