Kunalkumar Vyas of Brampton cashed in a winning $114,829.50 ticket after playing the Feb 21 Lotto Max draw.

Kunalkumar matched six numbers plus the bonus number to win the prize, according to the Ontario Lotter and Gaming Comission. He also won $20 on another selection on the same ticket, bringing his total winnings to $114,849.50.

Kunalkumar, a married father of two, discovered his win when he checked his ticket on the OLG Lottery App. “I was surprised. I couldn’t believe the amount on the screen,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “My wife is so excited, but we’re still in disbelief,” he smiled. 

The forklift operator plans to renovate his home and take a vacation to see the world. 

“I work very hard for my family, and this will mean so much for our quality of life. I can’t believe this is happening,” he concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Gateway Newstands on Peel Centre Drive in Brampton.
