Brampton Man Accused of Multiple Thefts and Break and Enters

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a Brampton man accused of multiple thefts and break and enters.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a Brampton man accused of multiple thefts and break and enters.
Police say that on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at around 6:07 a.m., Caledon OPP officers responded to a break and enter in progress at a residence on King Street West of Highway 10 in Inglewood.
According to police, officers arrived and found the suspect inside of the victim’s motor vehicle in the garage.
“The male was arrested without incident and transported to the Caledon OPP Detachment for processing,” said police in a recent statement. “Further investigation revealed that the male was responsible for additional thefts from motor vehicles as well as break and enters; as a result, he was charged accordingly.”

Dolan Paiva, 25, of Brampton is accused of the following:
- five counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- break and enter a place – commit an indictable offence
- two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- two counts of theft of a motor vehicle
- three counts of trespassing at night
- break and enter a place with intent to commit an indictable offence
- two counts of mischief under $5,000
- break and enter dwelling that’s a house – commit indictable offence
He appeared in court on February 9 to answer to the charges.
