Columba Valentini of Brampton has just won $250,000 with Instant Bingo Multiplier.

Valentini, a 64-year-old grandmother, told OLG she enjoys playing instant games to pass the time.

“I’m not a regular bingo player, but asked the retailer to pick three tickets for me,” she told OLG.

The retired teacher said she scratched her ticket that evening when she realized she only needed B3 to make a box.

“When I uncovered B3, I couldn’t believe my eyes! I double-checked using the OLG Lottery App. My eyes just about popped out of my head!” she told OLG.

Valentini said she would love to take her grandchildren on a trip one day when it’s safe to do so again. “I’ll save it until we can start gathering with friends and family again,” she told OLG.

“I can’t believe this moment is real. I had a hard time sleeping from my nerves and excitement,” she concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Hasty Market on Ruth Avenue in Brampton.
