A spin on the classic bookmobile, or traveling library, the Digital Bookmobile has been traveling across North America – so far, it’s hit 48 states and two provinces.

Now, the 74-foot, 18-wheel tractor-trailer is coming to Cyril Clark Library this week on Wednesday, July 19, from 2-8 p.m.

So, what exactly is a Digital Bookmobile?

According to organizers, it’s a high-tech version of the traditional bookmobile for public libraries and schools to promote their e-Books, audiobooks, and streaming video to their communities.

Readers can go inside the Digital Bookmobile to learn all about digital books by interacting with learning stations, playing with devices like iPads, and chatting with experts.

All you need is a library card to check it out!
