It’s been about a month since beloved tea shop T by Daniel closed its doors on Main Street for good, and just a short while later, owners Daniel and Renata Lewis are set to reopen at Bramalea City Centre (BCC) and bring their lion chais with them.

Exciting times ahead!

The new location is at BCC on the upper level in the new section by The Bay, and the shop will be open as of Friday March 16, 2018.

A grand reopening party will be held on Friday March 16 as well, from 5-9 p.m.

The well-known tea shop held a grand opening about four years ago at 46 Main Street North. While the closure in downtown Brampton was a surprise, the Lewises say that opening at BCC is the next step for business.

“We love our Brampton customers too much (so we couldn’t move too far) but it’s really just the next chapter in T By Daniel,” Renata Lewis told inbrampton.com in a recent email.

“With so many changes in retail, we feel its a step into a new and exciting direction for our brand. As entrepreneurs and owners of a small business we constantly have to hustle and find ways to strengthen our brand and we really hope to accomplish many more great and exciting things for our community in this new location.”

The final farewell party last month (aka. The Last Dance) was definitely a party – inbrampton.com dropped by, the lineup was out the door, and there was plenty of cake, tea, and good music to go around.

For the grand reopening, the shop is slated to unveil a brand new Royal Blend (the Polo with the Prince tea is on point already), have a live DJ, and release new Frui-Teas, which are tea-infused, real fruit smoothies, just in time for spring.

Will you be there?
