A 20-year-old woman is facing attempted murder charges after four people were stabbed on a Zum bus in Brampton and police are asking witnesses to come forward.
“All the victims are from Brampton,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Bally Saini.
The incident took place on July 3 at 9:17 p.m.
Emergency crews responded to reports of multiple victims being stabbed on a City of Brampton bus near Queen St. and McVean Dr.
Police found four victims in total, however, it’s unclear if they‘re known to the accused.
Paramedics treated a 49-year-old man before transporting him to a trauma centre.
The other three victims, all female, were taken to local hospital.
All victims had non-life threatening injuries, say police.
A suspect was arrested on scene.
Police are appealing to anyone that was on the bus at the time and hasn’t yet spoken to investigators to call the 21 Division criminal investigation bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 2133.
