Arrest made in connection to January shooting in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) have made an arrest in connection to a shooting in Brampton that took place earlier this month.

During the early hours of the morning of January 10, police were called to the area near County Court Boulevard and Bloomingdale Drive in response to suspected gunshots. 

Upon arrival, PRP discovered empty shell casings and a vehicle that appeared to be damaged from being shot. However, the suspect had fled the scene before PRP arrived. 

Yesterday, PRP’s Criminal Investigation Bureau at 22 Division arrested 30-year-old Jehroomien Rajendram was arrested and charged with several offences including Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.
