Joey’s Deli has been featured on many of our Top 5 lists as well as the hottest restaurants of the week. So, it came as a surprise when they announced that they would be closing down.

“To our beloved patrons, Joey’s Deli has had the privilege of serving the residents and business community of downtown Brampton for the last number of years. We have been impacted by every one of you, and are deeply grateful for your patronage. The business has been sold to new hands who we wish the very best for. Last week we have closed the door on our Journey called Joey’s Deli,” said Thomas and Vivian, the owners of Joey’s Deli, on their Facebook page on June 17.

The couple will continue to cater to local events, no matter how big or small they are. They ask people to reach out to them at [email protected] or 416 903 4240 if they need a catering service.

For those of you who are unaware, Joey’s Deli was a family restaurant that offered a wide selection of quick and easy food.

Located at 47 Queen Street West, Joey’s Deli had a ton of options on the menu, large portions, and all-day breakfast! During the morning, you can grab some cereal, or choose from all-day breakfast options such as a breakfast bowl, pancakes, an egg sautee, a breakfast sandwich, a big breakfast with eggs, home fries, toast, and pancakes, eggs benny, omelettes, waffles, pancakes or even french toast. Their food was delicious and their service was on point.

The place is now home to The Indian Curry Express and Bar. The new restaurant not only offers Indian food but also has Chinese and Nepali dishes. Many people have recommended their Tandoori roti, Chicken Lababdar, Chilli Chicken and Noodles. But, they have a lot more than that.
